Meet the Demonstrators

Magie is in 12th grade and has been dancing at DCI for 13 years. Around 4 years ago Magie became a demonstrator and loves working with the children. Magie loves being a part of the DCI family because of all the friends she has made and teachers that helped her find her love for dancer and believe in herself as a dancer. Magie especially enjoys her “spot” in the dance studio where she seems to always end up for dances. Outside of DCI, Magie has performed with the Stadium Theater, currently sings in her High School choir, and is a member of the High School Dance Team.

Sofia, 14, is in 9th grade and has been dancing with DCI for 11 years. Sofia became a demonstrator for the younger children a couple years ago and loves working with them as they develop their dance skills.  As a result of her love for dance, Sofia’s feet never stop moving and can be found dancing anywhere from home, school or a supermarket.  Contemporary is Sofia’s favorite subject at DCI.

Cassidy started dance at a very young age. She currently takes tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, contemporary, hip hop, and musical theater. Cassidy is also a member of the Dare to Dream competition team and absolutely loves being a demonstrator for DCI. Outside the studio, she is also a member of the MSC middle school dance team. Cassidy constantly looks forward to assisting in classes and helping out with the DCI future stars.

Rya is in seventh grade and has been dancing at DCI for 9 years. This is her second year being a demonstrator and she absolutely loves it! Her favorite class is Contemporary with Miss Holly. Fun fact about Rya is that she loves to bake! Rya's favorite part about dancing is the people she spends time with and that she gets to perform with them on stage.

Emily is in the 6th grade and has been dancing at Dance Creations Inc. since she was just 2 years old.  While Emily enjoys all styles of dance, her absolute favorite is Tap. Emily's feet never stop moving and she can often be seen tapping away in the house, in parking lots, or even in the aisles of grocery stores! This is Emily’s first year as a demonstrator and she is so excited to share her love of dance with the younger students.

Chloe is in her Sophomore year in High school and has been dancing with DCI for 13 years. Her favorite class is Contemporary and loves working with the little ones. Chloe is a big fan of Country music.

Calleigh-May is in 6th grade and has been dancing with DCI for 8 years and is one of the most recent additions to the Demonstrator family. Calleigh-May's  favorite classes include Tap, Jazz, and Ballet. She loves that she can make new friends and be silly with them while in the studio. Calleigh-May also in in her school's Band and Chorus.

Piper is in 7th grade at King Philip  Middle School and has been dancing with DCI for 10 years. This is Piper's first year as a demonstrator and loves to work on improving her technique as well as performing with her friends and the younger students. Piper is also in her third year playing the Clarinet at her school.

Charlenia started with DCI when she was three years old and became a demonstrator five years ago. Charlenia is an honor student in school, studies hospitality & tourism, and aspires to be a pediatric surgeon. Though she can be quite shy at times, Charlenia loves to dance and can be found dancing no matter where she is. Along with DCI, Charlenia participates and helps choreograph for her church praise team.

Lynnette has been dancing for seventeen years at Dance Creations Inc. She graduated from Jacqueline M. Walsh School of the Performing Arts in 2021 and has attended  summer dance intensives at Dean College. Lynnette is now studying physical education at Rhode Island College.
