Amanda Menard

Amanda Menard is a professional choreographer, instructor, and performer. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance Performance from Rhode Island College where she trained and studied with exceptional choreographers including Jennifer Archibald, Keigwin + Company, Tommy Noblett, and Adrienne Hawkins.

Amanda recently was a full-time instructor at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts and taught students of all ages in multiple styles such as tap, jazz, recreational ballet and levels primary-level II in the conservatory program, contemporary, and musical theater. During her time at FSPA, she choreographed and directed many student musicals and plays, as well as be the Children’s Rehearsal Assistant/Choreographer for the Conservatory’s Spring Ballet.  Menard is an ABT® Certified teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 3 of theABT® National Training Curriculum.

In addition to instructing dance, Amanda has had the opportunity to perform throughout her career. She has worked with her past college professors and performed their works in New York in the “Triskelion Arts Collaborative” and the “ModArts Dance Collective”. Menard has also performed with the Franklin Performing Arts Company as an ensemble member of many musical productions, including “Matilda the Musical” and “Mary Poppins” under the choreographic direction of Broadway performer, Clay Rice-Thompson.Amanda is extremely enthusiastic about teaching and loves to share her passion for dance with students of all ages.She is thrilled to return to Dance Creations Inc.
