1. No gum chewing.
2. Proper dance clothes and dance shoes must be worn for all classes. Students are also allowed to dance barefoot during jazz and/or lyrical classes. All ballet students must wear tights and a leotard to class. Shorts and ballet skirts are allowed during ballet and pointe classes. Absolutely no jazz pants are allowed during ballet and pointe classes. Jazz pants are acceptable during tap and jazz classes. Boys should wear t-shirts and shorts. Please make sure you tuck your t-shirt in. Sweatpants are also allowed in tap and jazz for boys.
3. Hair must be tied back and off the neck.
4. If you cannot attend a class, you should call to notify me. Arrangements will be made for a make-up class. If we do not hear from you within a three-week time span, we will assume that you will no longer be taking classes. If you choose to return, you will have to re-register.
5. Parents, please make yourselves comfortable in our waiting area. There is a one-way mirror for you to enjoy the classes.
6. No parents allowed during rehearsals.
7. Registration fee must be paid on the first day of class. All classes must be paid by the designated weeks of each term. During the eight week terms, tuition should be paid on the first and fifth weeks. During the six week terms, tuition should be paid on the first and fourth weeks of the term. A $5 late fee charge per week will be applied beginning in the next term if tuition is not paid for on time. Tuition may also be paid in full on the first week of each term. Tuition and registration fees are nonrefundable. First time students may pay for the first term by the week. All tuition after the first term must be paid as stated above.
8. All classes and rehearsals must be attended through the summer to be in the performance. All classes and rehearsals must be attended from September to Performance time even if the student does not wish to take that particular subject after the performance. There are no exceptions to this rule.
9. Students should be dropped off at the studio no more than 20 minutes before their class begins and they should be picked up no later than 15 minutes after their class ends. Friends waiting without adult supervision in the waiting area will not be allowed. If a minor chooses to watch, an adult must stay with that child at all times.
